Mohegan's 'Bubbleville' Faces Basketball Uncertainty

The college basketball season is set to tip off at Mohegan Sun in a unique environment on Wednesday. The arena inside the Uncasville casino is home to “Bubbleville” – a collection of early-season games – many originally slated to be played elsewhere -- involving some 40 men’s and women’s NCAA Division I basketball programs.

Towson University and the University of San Francisco is the first scheduled tip – Wednesday at 9 am. Towson was supposed to play the University of St. Bonaventure, but the team pulled out due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Another Wednesday game is up on the air following the withdrawal from Bubbleville of Baylor University.

Both the UConn Men’s and Women’s basketball teams are set to play in the bubble. Those games are on as of now. The first one is Saturday and features the women taking on Quinnipiac University.
